first time's a charm!.
Believe it or not i had never been to one. I was afraid it would be too much hoo ha. A store in a restaurant doesn't really appeal to me. I was pleasantly surprised. We were seated right away even though it was kinda busy. Our server was so nice and had a genuine smile. We even accidently broke the lamp and several employees were quick to help clean up and change out everything, even drinks. I decided to go with the basics first time around, just to test it out. Bacon, eggs, oat and walnut crunch pancakes, house made apple butter, and real maple syrup. And to top it all off, the detail often overlooked..a bottomless cup of really good coffee. Wish i had had room for dessert. Maybe i'll have to go again. Did a little window shopping in the store. Nostalgic candies, cool cookware, clothes, themed souvenirs and more. I will have to find one closer to me but hopefully it will be as good!

A little ole' country general store serving down-home foods and goods since 1969..
In Short
Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.
