Bad Experience. Though the atmosphere of the business is lovely and the personnel are very professional, I cannot recommend this spa for waxing purposes. I had a full leg wax, and when I returned home, I found so many still hairy portions of my legs that I had to shave my legs, thus defeating the purpose of getting a leg wax. I do not think the woman doing my wax paid any attention to making sure she covered the full area of my legs. I also mentioned with the first application that the wax was too hot, but she did not adjust the temperature. The wax was not the most expensive I have had, but it was so poorly done that I could have done better by myself at home.

Don't Let This Happen To You!. I went to this business last week to get my haircut. I had never been anywhere in Williamsburg before, however I chose to go to European Day Spa because it appeared to be a good place to visit. I am very weird about who I let cut my hair, but after doing some research online and coming across the name of this business multiple times I was convinced that it must be the one. If only I could go back in time. I asked to get my split ends cut off, and to have it cut straight across my back. Nothing fancy, just a simple haircut. Yanush was unable to do any of the above. He did not even come close to getting rid of the dead ends, and my hair was all kinds of crooked once he was finished. I was very unsatisfied with the entire experience. This was a $40 haircut that was not worth more than $5. You would be better off going to Walmart, and Yanush says he would be more than happy to send you there. The owner, Miriam/Muriel, does not care for her clientele. They were unable to handle the situation professionally and instead attacked me for complaining about the haircut. I was told on two different occasions that I would be receiving a phone call to settle the issue and was never contacted. Whenever I went back in for the third time Miriam/Muriel told me that she never had any intention of calling me back.

Do not make the same mistake I did. If you are looking to be treated well as a customer or receive quality service, this is not the place for you. Take my word for it because I know from personal experience that it is not worth the risk.
