Frank II Pizzeria Chesapeake,VA. I am from NJ where there is a good pizzeria around every corner and a great pizzeria no more than a mile away. I love Frank II Pizzeria (Chesapeake). If I were back home where there are dozens of options I would still call them. If you haven't tried their pizza you really should. Their pizza isn't franchized for the masses. It's made for the true Pizza lovers. Like I said I'm from Jerzee and I oughta know.

Decent. Good Italian subs. I like the simple atmosphere. I think the pizza was good. Try the other subs including the steak sub.

User review by hammer_head. While the food is very good, the wait staff is awful. We tried a few times because we liked the food, but the service jsut drove us away. Our last visit was on a Friday night, people had to wait 5-10 minutes for a table simply because they were not busing any tables so all the vacant tables were full of the previous diner's mess. The wait staff was too busy answering the phone for take out pizza orders and ringing up all those call in pickups to wait on the restaurant customers. It took FOREVER to get our order in and then FOREVER for it to appear. For this poor of service, you are paying way too much for their good food.

Casual and Relaxed. We have always enjoyed our visits to Frank's. The food is always so good and you don't have to dress up to enjoy great Italian food. Just sit back and relax in the cushioned booths and have some warm bread and some of the best veal marsala ever!
