Great place, great food, great drinks. The staff has always been awesome...good looking crowd. I certainly don't mind supporting this restaurant.

Makes me hungry just thinking about Smokehouse. Went back into Smokehouse a few weeks ago for the first time in several years. It is now my favorite Shore Drive restaurant and I've decided to eat my way through their outstanding menu. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.

When VCU played their last game in the NCAA basketball finals Smokehouse turned into a sports bar for the evening. A classy restaurant and bar with great food, drinks and atmosphere. Chocolate martini and French Silk pie is the perfect ending to a delicious meal. JP please bring on more live music!

Who Knew!!!!!. After many recommendations from my hairdresser, I went to Smokehouse on Saturday.

What can I say? She was right!

Smokehouse is cheerful, delicious, a bit noisy and delightful. Mixed style of smoked and non smoked foods at great prices.

It's not just the usual BBQ, or bar food place that you get along Shore drive.

My date and I enjoyed nori tuna rolls (sweet, tender and yummy), Beef Eggrolls , Texas Smoke Lamb Shank (who knew spicy lamb could be soo good?), a special Cajun rubbed NY Strip, and a homemade derby pie that was to die for (our waitress recommended it).

The crowd seems to be mostly a mix of young and old, the staff seems to accomadate everyone. The bar was full and active. I will be going back soon and would highly recommend the place. You will have fun and some great food.

Food Network Stop. Yes, its true. The food network was there filming a segment....goes to show how good food is. Very casual place with exceptional fussion style smoked apps and entrees. Even thought the ribs standout the true diamonds are the nightly specials and exciting menu novelties.
