Chicken wings with homemade sauce: There is no mild--just Hot, Killer, Suicide, Atomic and Below Hell.. The Scene
This Virginia Beach dive is standing-room only on weekends in the fall, so get here early if you want to sit at one of the 15 tables. (With Guinness on tap, sitting at the bar isn't all bad.) TVs in every corner with football on all means no bad seat for sports fans. When you get settled, make sure the roll of paper towels in the middle of table is full: You'll need them all.

The Food
The mildest of the Buckman's Best sauces is hotter than Hooters' hottest hot sauce, and the Below Hell is made with habaneros, the hottest pepper in the world. Lendy's won a national first place for the best--hottest--wings in 2003, so rookies steer clear. But for beer-guzzling, chicken-loving pros, this is the place to be for Sunday afternoon kickoff time. This corner store in the strip mall also has a wonderful raw bar.
