Greatest crabcakes ever!. I had a romantic getaway with an old friend last week at Blue Petes. The place is set on the water and lit up to perfection! I am still amazed that this place has been here all my life and I just never knew it.

I had the crabcakes which were sensational to say the least. I still cannot find a word to describe just how great they were!

Wonderful. We had the most relaxing meal. The food was superb and our server (Lindsey) was quite charming. Even with 20 of us in the group, everything was served quickly, hot and - great! The bartender was very friendly and the specialty Pungo crash? smash? was also quite good. The ambiance is lovely, quite an improvement over the same old chain restaurant. Everyone said hello to us and we had lots of attention. The food was spectacularly good I had the grouper blackened and it was great. I will be going back, and I'm so glad I read the other review, because it helped me make up my mind.

What a find!!. Secluded, on the water, great food, and enjoyable southern hospitality. I've dined at many of the better area restaurants and I would emphatically endorse this place. I have never had anything but great food at Blue Pete's, and the Wasabi lemon Tuna is outstanding. The Pungo smash is also a great pre-diner drink. The dress is casual to dressy (after all it is Pungo). They also have a cigar area that is away from the main dining area. It is worth the drive!
