Disappointing Crab Cakes. My friend and I grew up off the Chesapeake Bay enjoying blue claw crabmeat. Staff informed us last night the crabmeat used by Surf Rider is CANNED from THAILAND, not even an attempt at local. We've got no interest in imported, tasteless crabmeat. Where's the blue claw? You can have the biggest chunks of meat imaginable. If they're tasteless, it's a waste of time and our money. Please publish someplace when you decide to use real crabmeat. Until then, we will not return. What a disappointment.

My favorite crabcakes. This and only this Surfrider has the best crabcakes. No fillers, lump crab meat & cooked to perfection. Served w/ broccoli w/ hollandaise sauce that is steamed just right. Hushpuppies are included as well. Atmosphere is laid back and waitstaff extremely attentive! Love this place... been going here for years! I've tried the other locations and they are NOT the same as this one on Newtown Rd.

Excellent Crab Cakes. I have tried all 5 Surf Rider Restaurants and they have been a great dining experience. The Crab Cake dinner is wonderful!
