Not that bad

I have heard many horror stories about buying a puppy from a pet store, and from my expirience this wasn't one. Yes, my puppy was sick with kennel cough when I bought him but the pet store did not hesitate to pay full vet costs. My dog is in perfect health now and has been for the last 2 years. The puppies cages were not that clean though when I puchased my dog.
- Pros: Will pay vet bills with no problem.
- Cons: Over-priced, not clean enough.

DO NOT BUY AN ANIMAL FROM THIS STORE ESPECIALLY A PUP. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT REPUTABLE NOR ARE THE BREEDERS!!! THE PUPS ARE EITHER SICK OR GENETICALLY DEFORMED> THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PUPS!!!! BUY FROM A REPUTABLE BREEDER!!!!

Family pet center is a nice pet store with a very nice staff. The store has small mammals, fish and birds. The are sometimes kittens available and almost always puppies. The puppies are sometimes sick so the buyer should be careful and actually take the pup for that first vet visit. In the cases I know about, Family Pet has always been great about taking care of the pet when they were found to be ill at the time of purchase. The ladies in the shop are very nice and several have been in the business of pets for many years. Easy to talk to and available for questions after purchase.
