This center features more than 150 hands-on exhibits that educate visitors about fish, sharks, naval exploration and hydropower. The USS Wisconsin, used in both WWII and the Gulf War, berthed alongside the main center.

The Experience
Catch the Academy Award-nominated film, "The Living Sea," which takes viewers through the world's oceans and features a soundtrack by Sting. If you're looking for something more interactive, the Aegis Command Center provides a simulated battle on a Navy destroyer. The museum is also home to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, which chronicles 200 years of naval history. If all this nautical information has you hankering for a souvenir, stop by the Banana Pier for a wood model of a sailboat or a rubber shark for the kids.
