Skip This One. Kelly's Kempsville - giving it a second chance was a bad idea. Very smokey inside. Ordered potato skins, and that is mostly what I got; cooked-to-death potato slices (small slices), with chili, beans and a side of sour cream...yum! Also Ordered "the warmer" which is tomato soup and grilled cheese. What I received was cold pasta sauce and a cold cheese non-melted cheese sandwich. This was sent back and re-made, the soup was excellent, the sandwich, not so much. The McDonald's next door was looking good!…
Delicious burgers and the appetizers are great also. The service and the place are great. The tuna bites are the best that I have ever tried. The hamburger is really good but is nothing out of this world. There are only two things that I didn't like about this place: there were a lot a flies around and the french fries were almost all burned.…
Hands down the best. I have lived in Norfolk since 1984 and by far Kelly's in Norfolk have the BEST burgers and fries. I also travel alot on business and had the opportunity to sample alot of burgers. Kelly's you ROCK!!
Editorial Review. Huge hamburgers, dressed any way you like them, are the meal of choice at this Ghent neighborhood eatery.
mmmm ummmm good. messy but the yummiest BBQ burger in the world! Ghents great little restaurant for couples to enjoy a good burger on the sidewalk.
