Great food and atmosphere. Took a visitor there from out of town and we were both very pleased. I had the stuffed pork chop and she had the sea bass, both were excelent! The service was promt and friendly and the atmosphere was great. We have both eaten at some of the finest restaurants on the East and West coast and this place ranks right at the top. Would highly recomend to anyone.

Adequate. Friendly staff, plenty of outdoor seating. Food was a mixed bag... Shrimp & scallop Rockefeller was tasty, with nice large shrimp and a abundance of scallops, but we couldn't find the bacon that was advertised as being in this dish. Very messy to eat if you try to get every morsel out of the shrimp tail shell. The seafood platter was mixed. The flounder was excellent, if a little bony as were the hand cut calamari (though no bones in those). The shrimp was tasty, but few. The scallops were dissappointing, but that may have been the breading. The crab cake was decent - better than some, but not even close to the best. The cocktail sauce was very tasty, not too hot with good flavor. The tartar sauce was also well flavored. The key lime pie was average. It was a little too soft for my taste and the crust was a bit thick, but overall a decent pie.

wonderful. It was so nice to sit on the patio overlooking the marina and enjoy such nice service and wonderful food. I was so impressed with both the wine list and with the excellent martini list. Two thumbs up.

Whether by car or by boat, get to this waterside shack for great seafood.. The Scene
It might be easier to travel to the Blue Crab's dockside location by boat than by car; this waterside restaurant is smaller than some of the sea cruisers berthed in the nearby marinas. Sit on the deck overlooking the water and watch the world sail by. By February 2002 the restaurant will be even closer to the water, as it's moving to a new complex only 50 feet away.

The Food

Fresh seafood is the main draw, especially jumbo soft-shelled crabs when they're in season (May-October). Don't miss the decadent prime rib special on Thursday nights--take someone special and share two 14-ounce steaks, creamy mashed potatoes and fresh veggies like asparagus or corn on the cob. Sunday brunch is perfect for specialties like eggs served Benedict-style with a crab cake instead of Canadian bacon. Wash that down with a spicy, housemade Bloody Mary rimmed with Old Bay, and you're in for a real Mid-Atlantic treat.
