Dairy Queen UNSANITARY CONDITIONS, kids behind counter and unsafe food handling, caught in the act. Newport News Virginia. Went into this DQ. to get lunch for child and self. 1st off the owner was behind the counter argueing with her very smaller children. Who were under the age of 10 working. When she finally decided to take our order. She was rude and didnt act as if she cared we ordered anything.from her

The 1 and only employee. teenage girl. petite, dark brown hair in pony tail wearing lots of gold jewerly. Took the order and completed it with NO GLOVES. no hair net nothing. Handled the food with her hands, wiped her hands on her backside then completed the order. When questioned about the gloves she lied and said she was using them, When we told her we watched her entire actions and saw no gloves she basically told us that we were not seeing what we thought we were and grabbed a glove (which she did not put on) to hand us our already completed meal. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE EAT THERE! Nasty. How embarrasing for DQ. This resturant sits outside of a military installation as well. Terrible. Also contacted DQ Headquarters.
