Great Food and Great Service. From breakfast to dinner you get great food for a fair price. The owner Sammy is always there to greet you at the door (something you rarely see in this age). He even grinds his own ground beef every morning. That is exceptional to me. Nice steaks no matter what size and cooked to your satisfaction. The salads are outstanding. My favorite is grilled chicken ceasar. You'll never be disappointed and can afford to eat their everyday if you wish!

My special place. Former hometown Hampton, VA hosts my longtime favorite. What is more exceptional than the moderate priced dinners are the crispy Greek salads topped abundantly with chunks of feta, marinated black olives and a herb dressing (ask to go lite on the wine vinegar!). Second favorite are the sandwich boats accompanied with shoestring fries cooked in vegetable oil flavored with rendered beef fat - aahh! Feel those arteries tighten up now. But for a brief visit to my hometown, exercise and lite diet otherwise, Sammy & Nicks is for the food, family and the fun!
