Best Customer Service Around!.
I've bought two machines from Sew E-Z and Frieda has walked and talked me through every question. I have a third Janome that was purchased before I had the good fortune to find Sew E-Z and Frieda has shown me tricks of the trade on that machine as well.
I highly recommend this shop for all of your Janome sewing and embroidery needs. When I buy another machine you can bet it will be from Sew E-Z.

Great place for sewers of all ages!. I bought a new sewing maching here, and three months later brought it in and got a lesson on how to use it! Frieda showed me all kinds of tricks and how to clean it. They also have great teachers for quilt classes, and a good stock of supplies. Just what Portsmouth needs. July 31st Sew E-Z did a 12-hour charity sew-in for St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children along with Job's Daughters.

Best Little Quilt Shop in Tidewater. Sew E-Z is my first choice when it comes to a Quilt Shop in this area. Freida has the "best" fabric selection "bar none". And if you have an embroidery machine it is a one stop shop with tons of embroidery designs to choose from. They offer a variety of all types of Janome machines and sewing cabinets to fit anyone's sewing needs. I love the classes too!! It is the best therapy going there and spending the day sewing with friends. Check it out...you will be so glad you did:)

Great customer service. The best sewing shop in the area. All of the renovations enhance the shop for customers and students. The friendliness of Freida, Jim, Melissa and the other staff members cannot be beat. They are always helpful and eager to make your visit to the shop productive and pleasant. If you want to learn about sewing or quilting this is the place to go.

Clean, very helpful and great customer service , always so glad to give you help.. Love the people there , they always help me in everything I am looking for. Clean and plesant and very beautiful there. Never could ask for any better place to shop . Nice classes and always there for me if i need help.

Best place in town to buy anything you need in for sewing. I think Fredia is a very nice person to deal with as a friend and a sales owner. When I need anything she is right their to help. I know the girls that work for her is just as sweet as she is. Her kindly manner will go with her for ever. So if you need any thing go and see Fredia and her girls.

SEW E-Z. PORTSMOUTH HAS THE BEST SEWING CENTER AROUND. THE FABRIC IS BEAUTIFUL, NOT ONLY FABRIC FOR QUILTING BUT DRESS FABRIC ALSO. TOP OF THE LINE SERVICE. THESE LADIES KNOW THEIR SEWING AND MACHINES. CLASSES OFFERED ALL THE TIME. THE BEST PART IS, THEY MAKE YOU FEEL SO WELCOME WHEN YOU COME IN TO SHOP. A TRUE HOMETOWN SHOP FULL OF WONDERFUL THINGS FOR THE SEWING WORLD. THE SHOP ALSO HAS SEWING CLASSES FOR THE BEGINNER. THE LADIES ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP YOU. NO QUESTION IS TO SMALL. I JUST LOVE GOING THERE.

Best Sewing Shop Around!. What a great place to find anything & everything you could want or need for your sewing creations! Good selection of beautiful fabrics/threads/machines/supplies. Expert, professional & friendly advice/service/assistance provided. Tastefully decorated in a fashion that seems more like a club/"hangout" - place you want to stay for a while, very inviting - rather than just a "store"! Would recommend to everyone - Freida & staff have done a super job with this treasure for every level seamstress!!!

Helpful for beginners and advanced sewers and quilters alike. Owner going out of her way to accomodate all types of requests, classes, fabrics....extremely well taught classes. Great camadre amongst users.

Great quilt store!. Sew E-Z has something for everyone, more types of Janome sewing machines than you know existed! They have; fabric, embroidery designs and thread, classes and supplies for your sewing projects. Best of all they have great information and are more than willing to share it. No question is silly to them. It's a great store for beginners and the avid seamstress!
