The Scene
If there's a big indoor sporting event in Norfolk, chances are it's at Scope Arena, a city-owned arena in downtown. The enormous complex was built in 1971 and seats more than 13,000 fans.
The Best
Scope is home to the Norfolk Admirals, who are part of the American Hockey League. The Nighthawks, an arena football team new to Scope, have already won the hearts of Norfolk sports fans.
The Rest
The Norfolk Scope almost always has an event of interest including The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, several ice shows, concerts and Old Dominion Basketball.
