Barrett is THE PREMIER transitional housing program in norfolk!!!!. I've been a member of their staff team for a short while now, but I would have to say that this program not only achieves it's goal of leading women to self-sufficiency, but it exemplifies the meaning of a housing program that really works!! BTH is the leading transitional housing program in Norfolk because it handles a homeless population that is rarely serviced. GO TEAM BARRETT!!!!

Barrett Haven offers transitional housing for single and single pregnant women. Wonderful organization with which to volunteer - dedicated staff and college students combined with great community support. There is an ongoing need for conscientious community members to become involved with this underserved population. Barrett Haven is the best!!!!!!. This is a great place to volunteer.the staff is very helpful. the director is very dedicated, passionate about her work
