Good Ice cream, but lousy ownership and employees. Do not go to this Brusters. While the ice cream is great, the service is slow, lousy, and even rude. I complained to the owner about this a while back (through email) and she seemed kind. She said she was sorry and even gave me a $10 gift card. So, I kept going and things seemed better until the other day. I was waiting on my medicine from Walgreens (right next door) and thought I would walk over and check out the flavors. They did not have my favorites so I sampled two kind. They were good, but not good enough to buy (keep in mind my husband and I spent lots of money there and we know what we like). Plus, I was unsure of how much longer my meds were going to be and I didn't want to take the chance of it melting. The lady who was working there seemed very impatient with me (and I was the only customer there) while I was deciding and her attitude was making me uncomfortable. So I kindly said that I think I'll pass today. She gave me a snarl look and laughed in a mean way and said, "so you dont want anything now?" I got her name to report her and when I got home, I checked my previous emails and IT WAS HER NAME! I could not believe it. Unless there are two Jeans (sp?) working there, the owner is rude and I now understand why her employees were so rude and seemingly unhappy. Go the extra mile and find a brusters who will treat you great and give you the experience you deserve...ice cream should be a fun and yummy time; not a time to be treated poorly! Especially when you are giving them your money!
Homemade Goodness. This is a great place to walk up and get a nice old fashioned style ice cream. They also carry specials for the seasons. In October they have "pumpkin" ice cream which is out of this world.
Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Families and kids flock for fresh frozen custard served at the ice cream shop that offers homestyle recipes.
Old Fashioned Good!. Best ice cream in town since High's closed. Good selection. Walk-up windows...no seating...take your old car and hose off the kids when you get home!
