Great selection, no nonsense..
I searched the majority of the gun shops in eastern VA and A&P Arms was the only shop who had the product I was looking for. The Hampton shop is small in size, but large in selection.
I wouldn’t say the customer service is low; these are no nonsense guys running the shop and some may feel that’s poor service. I didn’t have any problems, but I don’t need someone kissing butt when I’m in the market for a new firearm anyway.
Great shop, I’ll come back.…
Great service. Great selection, fair prices and a great staff! I'll only shop A&P Arms from now on.
Good selection, decent prices, and good service..
I've been to A&P arms several times. Despite having a large staff the workers seemed overwhelmed with the sheer volume of customers.
Having to wait for assistance was the only detractor from my experience there though. The staff I talked to genuinely seemed informed about the products, were friendly and gave me good advice.
The person that helped me pick out my 1911 even gave me a card for a person who makes custom gun leather rather than trying to sell me a generic holster from their store.
It's a great store if you don't mind waiting.…
Horrible attitudes. I agree with the previous notion of the gentlmen behind the counter having horrible attitudes. I would never recommend anyone to this shop.
Best Prices. Read the reviews, I have spent alot of time in this store,I have also purchased a few guns from this store. I notice that the staff is very strict on requirements to purchase a firearm. Some may believe that it is rude when they do not meet the legal requirements to purchase a firearm. I like the fact that this store is strict on there requirements to buy a gun. I believe that if more gun stores would practice this. guns would not keep ending up in hands that they should not. I do not think the employees are rude, they are simply doing what the laws require them to do.…
