Great Time on the River

Melanie from the beginning, you made the process so easy and were so professional in all the transactions!! I cannot wait until I host another conference to work with you again and involve the, “Sprit of Norfolk” for a dinner cruise.

We were met at the dock by Captain Jim Lee and his crew. That really started our night off to a great start!!

He and the crew were so friendly and greeted every guest as they boarded and departed.

The DJ and entertainers kept the deck with great enjoyment and a good time was had by all.

The restaurant manager, Brent Lewis, came up to me and asked right away if there is anything he can do to make the cruise better, just let him know.

The restaurant team was very courteous to all and the food was raved about for days. My group all wish to return for another cruise.

I have received calls for information from attendees that made this cruise, as there were many VP’s and managers on board with us that also hold conferences.

You all need to give yourself a BIG pat on the back for a job well done!!!!

You made our conference the best ever!!!!

Jazz Brunch Cruise

My bride and I enjoyed a jazz brunch cruise during our honeymoon. Chef Sheila did a great job because, even though I am vegetarian, there was plenty of salad plus vegetables and fruit. My wife said that the Alaskan Salmon was delicious. Brent managed the staff and saw to our comfort The DJ acknowledged the guests' special events, but the best part was the music. There was an amazing pianist plus a compatible drummer and a very original trumpet player. They recreated some of the earliest jazz styles, like dixieland and swing up through bebop, progressive and fusion. They even played the first dance song from our wedding so we could dance to it again. We will definitely return for the next jazz brunch cruise in October.

Fabulous Spirit Cruise

I took this cruise with 4 people who had never been on before. We had a wonderful time. I have special needs and the staff came off to help me board and assisted me during the entire cruise including fixing my food for me. The buffet was sooo good and the head chef actually came out and greeted us. The girls participated in a dance contest and won prizes. The view was wonderful and we also got a history lesson. I learned some things I never knew and I have lived in the area for over 15 years. We were having so much fun that we didn't realize the ship had docked! The time goes way too fast. I would love to see a 5 hour cruise come available. I thought the price was high but after going on I think it was money well spent. Our server was also part of the entertainment but she worked hard for her tip. The staff that does the pre boarding photos was great too..so be prepared to buy your pictures. I plan to take a dinner cruise with my husband soon. I also learned they do educational tours for children. I can't say enough about this cruise it was a great experience that left me wanting more. Parking in the garage is easy and inexpensive and the view around the port is so nice you may want to come early to take pictures in the park.

• Cons: 3 hours goes by really fast

Great time.

The staff really caters to their guests, food was amazing and the DJ was always getting people involved and dancing.. Head to the upper deck if you are looking for a more intimate and quiet time. Bar staff are very personal and friendly.. I recommend this to anyone and everyone looking to celebrate a birthday or anniversery in a memorable way

• Cons: A little pricey but perfect for a special occasion

A Nice Evening

This is a pricey excursion, but worth doing once. If you have family that you want to treat, or a special occasion to celebrate, it's a nice weekend activity and a good dinner.
