Skimpy on the toppings...
Went to this Subway after working out so I could get a healthy meal. Placed an order for 2 foot long subs. Part of what I added to the sub was lettuce and tomatoes, and the employee put a very small amount of lettuce and a few small tomatoes on the subs. When I asked for more, he put a very, very small amount of lettuce (maybe 15 small shredded pieces) and had an attitude about it. When I asked for shredded cheese he put a few sprinkles on the sub, and when I asked for more as the amount was so low, he added another small sprinkle to each end and then stated if he added any more cheese he would have to charge me more. I was very surprised as there was hardly any cheese on the sub at all!
The advertisements state you can get unlimited vegetables, but apparently this is not the case here, and if you ask for more than a very small serving they initially add, you will get an attitude as well. This location will put the least amount of toppings they can get away with on their sub, and their bad attitude will prevent you from asking for more.
If I want to be ripped off and get a skimpy thin cheap sub I will go here.
Sandwich chain offers healthy alternatives for diners on the go..
In Short
Subway's health-conscious menu is built around greaseless deli sandwiches--turkey, chicken, roast beef, etc.--made on soft rolls baked daily in-house. Customers pick white, wheat or a specialty bun, name the length, choose the toppings and watch as the sandwich moves down the assembly line. Wraps, melts, salads and chips by the bag diversify the streamlined menu. And despite the bread factor, Subway boasts numerous successful weight-loss stories and low-carb menu items.
