Definately a "Local Spot". We tried them on what should have been their best night serving food. We went as a party of four on a Friday night at 715pm.

I had heard good things about this place, so I wanted to put them to the test on a busy night.

An appetizer, and entree's for 4 people drinking water ran a bill of $55 including the tip.

HIGH VALUE at this restaurant, however our food was very bland. Dishes we ordererd was the Baked Ziti, Spaghetti w/marinara, Calzone, and Chicken Francese (sp?). Everything except the chicken dish was well worth the $. The Chicken dish had a $14 price tag on it, but was much less of a portion to any of the other dishes.

Our waitress was nice and I enjoyed the complementary fresh hot loafs of bread. NO OIL or VINEGAR to go along with the bread however, just whipped butter.

Best Italian around. Me and my family have been going to Franco's for years. The food is always perfect! The service is excellent and it's a great atmosphere inside. The only restaurant around that I could eat at everyday.

The Best!. My wife and I were old customers of the "original" Franco's on Azalea Garden and when we saw the "Franco's by the Bay" we had to ask if it was part and parcel of the orginal? Turns out it is Franco's son, and he has learned well! The food is spectacular, the prices are so reasonable you would almost ask if the bil was correct? We go there every Sunday for the veal parm and ensalata antipasto. I combination hard to beat. The service is excellent. It could only be better by staffing a one on one for each table! Definitely, and highly recommended! You can not go wrong. Their meatball subs for lunch will tie you over till breakfast the next day! Their pizzas are excellent and authentic too!

Makes me feal like I'm back in Italy!. This place takes you from Virginia to Italy when you walk through the door. It's small relaxing setting has a nice feeling to it. You can see the cooks making the great authenic Italian cuisine from where ever you sit. The portions are huge and the price is right. I would recommend Franco's to anyone who likes to get away from the franchise Itallian resturants and experience authentic Itallian food.
