the worst.
This place is a joke. I was the designated driver and following a bunch of my friends around (mainly females and 2 males). We were walking from another bar and I ended up waiting outside with one of the males (he's finishing up a cigarette) while everyone else went in before last call. My friend an I went up and they wanted to charge us. They were closing in 15-30 minutes. When a few of the females came out to see why we were out in the cold, one of the bounchers pulls them inside and closes the door.
Time is the worst. I spit in the ID checkers coffee. He came out and grabbed it and went back in while my friend and I waited out in the cold.
Eff this place. Rude staff. Crappy bartenders who can't make any decent drinks. Shitty atmosphere.
This place is a joke.
I cant stand this place. The crowd was gross & the staff was rude. I am not going back ever.
The Banque is much more fun.
Time is Up.
My time at Time has been a fine time every time. The good looking young man checking ID?s at the door, friendly, patient, and thank goodness, a sense of humor. The lil girl taking the money was very friendly and cheerful. The manager was super friendly and understanding in regards to my desperate need for a VIP wristband. Loved them all.
The drinks? Overpriced? Hardly, as fine a martini as I have had anywhere. The DJ and the sound system rocked. A little AC might have made it even better, but certainly did not diminish the fun.
The best thing about the Time Lounge? The clientele. Time is kind of small and very crowded, but everybody seems to be there just to have a good time, no trauma no drama. If ya like to dance and ya like to drink and ya like to do it with friendly staff and cool customers, check out Time Lounge. Any day of the week. Well worth the little five dollar cover charge.
Ask for John, the manager, tell him Denver sent you.
Avoid at all costs!!!. I would avoid this bar like the plague. The drinks are way overpriced and water downed. The service was horrible. Everyone from the security to the girl taking the money was rude. The bartenders did not even know how to make simple mixed drinks. The place was way over crowded with no place to walk and an area that I would hardly call a dance floor. The crowd overall was not the sophisticated crowd as advertised. The place is basically just an overpriced meat market. There are much better places to go on Granby without a cover, better service, staff who know what they are doing, and where you will have a much better time!- the most important part. :) Stay far far away.
Downtown's most upscale martini bar caters to a hip clientele looking to be seen on the dance floor..
In Short
With DJs spinning the latest vinyl and celebrity sightings frequent, you might think this nightclub is located in New York, D.C., or even South Beach. The line to get in wraps around the corner and attests to the club's popularity. Inside, huge chandeliers--gold, silver, glass and antique--hang from 30-foot molded ceilings in the bi-level main room. Square bar stools and tables fill quickly; a nearby mahogany bar contains the overflow with myriad martinis and top-selling cigars.
