Don't go to this salon.
I am extremely disappointed in this salon (or at least my stylist- Nichole). The first time she cut and highlighted my hair, I was relatively happy with my color but not happy with my cut. I am not a very assertive person, so I dealt with it. But the second time I went to her, I was unhappy again. She charged me $150 for less than an hours worth of work. The haircut left my hair looking more ragged than when I arrived and I still had roots after she did my touch up highlights. She was so busy talking that I don't feel like she was paying attention. I have not complained to Changes yet because it probably won't do any good. But I thought it was important to share my experience with others.
Today I went to G Patton Salon and had a wonderful experience! Please steer clear of Changes. I have lost confidence in this salon because Nichole is supposed to be one of the best stylists in the salon. If she is the best, I would hate to see the worst.
they just don't get it.
Went for color/highlights. To keep costs under $400, we decided on 6-10 foil highlights total, root treatment, and a cut. Came to over $225.00 and you must buy their recommended shampoo/conditioner for the color to be guaranteed for even a couple of days (plus, touch-ups every three months). Got home and my husband asked why one side of my head looked blonder than the other. Went back to have it fixed and the stylist commented, "well, we were trying to keep the costs down for you and sometimes that's what you end up with." In other words, I was too cheap to spend $400 every few months on my hair!
Although she fixed it (by adding more highlights), the stylist treated me like I was trying to get more out of them for the measly $225.00 plus $40 tip I paid.
And, they wonder why business is down?
Maybe Changes need a change. This salon has really gone down hill. Last time I was there I a had to wait for the stylest to get to work. This took almost a half an hour or more. Then she arrives to work and looks as though she had just crawled out of bed with a t-shirt that read I love mullets with raggy jeans. I thought someone was playing a joke on me. This was a weeked. I felt as though she was in a rush and I noticed she rolled her eyes a lot as she looked over at her co-worker when I was talking to her. There was so much rudeness from young people talking bad about others and just all around bad, unprofessional atmosphere. Time has past since my visit and a co-worker of mine received a girt certiicate to Changes. I told her maybe they cleaned up there act. She went and had almost the same experience. Rude people, long wait, and was left at the nail dryer with no good bye, have a nice day. She said she will never return and will tell anyone who ask to stay far away. Maybe Changes needs a change.
