Editorial Review by Christy Buena. The shiny exterior attracts locals to the diner where traditional classics and blueplates are served in large homestyle portions.
Good all american food. This is one of my favorite places to eat. You just have to go in between the huge breakfast and lunch crowds. Because of it's location next to town center it can get pretty packed, but I've found if you avoid the busy hours and weekends, it's a great place to go. I haven't ordered anything bad here, and the staff has always been super friendly. Not to mention you have some good old music to keep you entertained while dining. Even if your just itching for dessert it would be a good place to stop. They have an old fashioned fountain menu and the icecream and shakes are very very good. It's a great place to go if you're tired of the same old chain restaurant food and are looking for some good ol homecooked type meals.
not again. I have gone there a few times for lunch. The first 2, they were so slow, we swore we'd never go again, but we kept giving them another chance because of their 110% guarantee. The last 2 times, we ordered the 10 minute lunches and they took at least 45 minutes. That was for turkey sandwiches. We would give them another shot because they are close and everyone has a bad day. However, when I emailed the restaurant to let them know (because they ask your opinion), I got no response. Now, my co-workers and I stick to Ruby Tuesday or some other place in the area who is concious of work schedule. Plus I think their portions are small but with bigger restaurant pricing.
