Delicious seafood prepared your way in this colorful downtown spot perfect for people-watching.. The Scene
Tropical fish swim in a towering tank by the bar, providing entertainment for nearby diners. A similar fishbowl effect is created by the floor-to-ceiling windows, which allow patrons to observe sidewalk strollers in the trendy downtown neighborhood. A rear dining area adjoins a back patio where low, reggae music keeps the atmosphere light for the after-work crowd.

The Food
The seafood is irresistible and occasionally unconventional. Tortuga Tostada, a unique appetizer, is a flour tortilla filled with crab, shrimp, and Wisconsin cheddar then topped with a tasty sweet pepper relish and spring onions. Entrees, like a pick-and-mix selection of fresh catch and seasonings, allow customers to play chef--helped, if need be, by some in-house recommendations. The smooth flounder (blackened on cast iron) gets a distinct contrast from some punchy blue cheese grits; super-spicy grilled jerk salmon gets a palate cleanser from accompanying mashed potatoes.
