I love this place over other tanning salons because of how new everything is and the people who work there are awesome. They always know my name when I come in and are happy!

need the Vitamin D. I just recently began tanning because I am vitamin D deficent and after looking at vitamin supplements and researching online found that one of the most effective ways to get the required intake of vitamin D is from sunshine. Well I checked out Solar Beach and the staff are very knowledgable about the benefits of tanning it is obvious they are trained and very professional. I signed up for the Beach Club and have already seen an increase in my Vitamin D level I am thrilled and it doesn't hurt that I look great with a wonderful glow to my skin. I look forward to my visits to Solar Beach the staff always have such a warm welcome for me........ I give them a top rating for customer service.
love these tanning salons. convenient locations I mostly go to the College Dr or Tyre Neck locations as between work and home. Love the friendly staff who are so helpful and informative. I would recommend Solar Beach to everyone
BEWARE OF THIS SALON. First thing you will notice is the tanning rooms don't even have a chair or place to put your clothes or belongings when your tanning...this is cheap. Guess you can just throw your stuff on the dirty floor. Second thing is you can pay for a premium membership but yet its still an extra fee everytime you use it. And lastly but not leastly, the customer service is really bad. You can join but if you ever try to stop your membership good luck with that. BEWARE. They will deny receiving phone calls, letters, emails, and they will not ever help you or call you back. I recommend not giving them any bank information at all...pay as you go if you want a crappy tanning salon.
Very, Very Unhappy !!!! One star is to many for them.. Tried to cancel my membership before moving out of the area, and 90 days later I am still being charged and they refuse to help or cancel my account. Customer service is the worst. No return calls, No return emails, No help. As long as you want to join forever there is no problem . DO NOT EVER GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT OR CREDIT CARD NUMBER.
Terrible....Terrible...Terrible customer service. Could not stop my membership no matter what I did....certified letters send, numerous phone calls were ignored, finally had to go to my bank and block the charge since 4 months later they were still taking the money out....DON'T JOIN, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't ever buy a membership to this place...because you can't cancel it. After sending 2 certified letters and calling over 30 times, they were still taking money out of my bank account. I had to get a new bank card to make them stop. Management never returns phone calls, and denies receiving the certified letters which they signed for. Don't join, pay as you go...or find another salon.
The worst customer service ever!. Ditto on the manager/owner being hard to reach. I signed up for the beach club and had the same problem resigning. I sent the letter, which conveniently was lost, and have been trying to get my money back for months now. After TONS of calls to the stores, having to explain my situation over and over again to different people, and leaving messages that are never returned, I know that I will NEVER GO BACK THERE!
No customer service help. I was a member of the beach club and while I was using it everything was great. The people and the beds were wonderful. Then came the time that I had to cancel. I was told to write a certified letter to the Suffolk branch to cancel. I used the tanning bed for the last time in October and was told that it may take a month to cancel the member ship. Here it is January I am still being charged and every time I try to contact the manager she is never there and never gets back to me. I am very upset that I am no longer using the service and I feel as if I am being blown off. If there customer service is any indication I will never get reimbursed for the money that they have continued to take from me. Pay month by month if you are going to use this salon.
Great Customer Service. Best tanning salon. Employees are very friendly and courteous. I have been to many other tanning salons and employees usually are not very friendly. The salon is beautiful and very clean. Hardly ever have to wait for a tanning bed and when I do its usually not very long.
