Great Service, Great Food, Priced Just Right. Recently my friends and I were looking for someone to cater an ODU tailigate for us(More Drinking Time For Us) and I came across Great Bridge BBQ on my way home from work one night and stopped in to see what their prices were like. Luckily for me I made it in just in time to catch the owner still working at the restaurant. He gave my friend and I a great deal on catering our ODU event. No clean up for us, no hovering over a grill and more time for cornhole and beer. Thank you Great Bridge BBQ for the great service. We will definately use you again next year for ODU tailgating. GO MONARCHS!

You can find better if you look.. Went this place to have dinner. The first that hit me was the smoke-filled seating area--or for that matter the entire establishment. They had to turn on the big air vents often to clear the smoke-filled restaurant. That was a turn-off. I got a small (and I mean small) pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans, a very small coleslaw on the side and an ice tea. The tiny sandwich with beans was $6 and ice tea was about $1.69. Identical order for the second person--total with tax $17+. It seemed the food was prepared earlier in the day, because the sandwich and beans were heated in a microwave--no big deal. The sandwich was ok but there are other alternatives if you really want some good BBQ. The service was very friendly, but I'll probably take the time to find BBQ somewhere else. I give this place 3/5 stars--mainly for the good customer service.

Off Site Cooked "Q" (Get a rope!!). Was looking forward to trying this place. If you are thinking the same, don't do it keep driving far and fast.

Food had absolutely no taste. Wait staff was friendly and talkative. They were extremely proud of their pre packaged food (Brisket made in Kansas and heated in a broiler), who knows where the pulled pork is made surely isn't on site. Was informed the ribs are packaged by Smithfield and reheated on site. Think you get the picture this isn't "Q".

Will give them props on the Kaiser Bun served with the Brisket.

All in all not impressed and can't recommend this place if you are serious about your "Q".

Best BBQ in Hampton Roads. I've met folks driving from all over Hampton Roads and NC to come to this place. Great BBQ sandwiches and Ribs. Great sides too. Here you can get great BBQ and ice cream deserts too! A local hometown favorite with homemade foods and great service. A clean friendly place, great family atmosphere!
