I wouldn't recommend going to Le Star. I went there looking for a prom dress and found one that I liked. But the lady who helped me said it was a store "sample" and she would have to order my dress. She charged me a "restocking fee" and shipping. Then on the receipt, it said there were no guarantees that the dress would come in by the date promised, that the dress would fit, or even that the dress was in good condition- basically, Le Star wasn't responsible for my purchase. They really didn't care if I left a satisfied customer! I regret not backing out of the purchase then and walking out of Le Star. When my dress arrived and I tried it on in the store, it was about two sizes to big- which seemed odd, because my measurements were taken to order the right size of the dress. But, when the lady helping me said Le Star would do the alterations needed for it to fit me (and charge me)... it wouldn't surprise me if they order the wrong size so that they can charge people for alterations. Good learning experience, but horrible experience at Le Star.

Le Star is Le Smoky!. I took my 16 yr old daughter looking for a dress for her ring dance. We were the only people in the entire shop. The lady was at the front counter and was burning incense! I couldn't believe it! I thought it was very unusual to be burning incense in a FORMAL WEAR shop! Hello? Do you not realize that Your stinky incense will stink up the dresses? Does your boss know you are doing this? I was absolutely taken aback by this unprofessional behavior. Do not shop here and get a smoked up dress! Weird!

Worst Experience Ever. This place is a sham. I took my daughter here to find her prom dress. All of the formals had "sample" stamped on the bottoms of them, but they assured us it wasn't a problem and that could be removed. She searched the racks and found the dress. It was $245, which I thought was within reason. She tried on the dress and they pinned and marked the necessary alterations. She was so excited and I was relieved that we finally found the right dress. It wasn't until I pulled out my card and was ready to pay at the register, that they hit me with the news that I would have to pay a $40 restocking fee, because the dress was a sample (they all were). The hem would cost an additional $55 and the additional alteration on the side at top would be another $45. There I stood with my daughter having to say no to the dress. After tax and all their undisclosed mark-ups that dress would have ended up costing me over $400! I'm writing this to help other avoid the horrible position I was in yesterday. They had me over a barrel, and they knew it. We will continue our search for prom. Avoid this place. They ought to be ashamed of themselves for operating like this!

Terrible Experience with this Shop Continues!!. Well my dresses finally came in on Thursday March 25th, after missing both of the promised dates of arrival. Now after trying the dresses on, they are not even close to what they are supposed to look like! I was given a picture of what the dresses would look like from the shop, and the dresses are not correct! The dress has a gather that is supposed to be under the bust area in order to accentuate the waist, but instead the gather in on the belly and hip region causing this area to look even bigger, which everyone knows that no woman in the world wants to flaunt this area unless they are a size 0. So now with my wedding about 3 weeks away I have to either find a whole new dress or drastically alter the ones that we have now. I am very upset and dissatisfied with Le Star Bridal!!

I had the worst experience with this location. The manager is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever met. I went there to see if I can find my wedding dress. First thing is the store opens at 11am, so I got there at 11 am there was no one so I said Ii would walk aroudn the neighborhood. I decided to come back at 11:30am when i came back the manger literally kicked me out of her store and told me I can come back at 12:30 pm if I want that she was busy running other errands and that she had three dogs to feed!!! I was really shocked and explained to her that I had waited all this time for her and this and that she ouls not hear it. She said she has to drive 2 hours to get to the store and all this other stuff. At this point I told her never mind that I will take my business else where she continued on even as I was leaving her store.

I have never seen such unprofessionalism especially if someone is bringing business to her...

in the end, a good experience. I previously posted here because my fiance and I had a bad experience with Lestar Bridal. However, this was before the store's owner contacted us and fixed our problem. My fiance found an amazing dress at Lestar and Betty, who works in the store, was very helpful and friendly. My fiance and her mother signed for the dress and paid for half of it, but then she found out that it had been accidentally priced incorrectly. At first we thought we wouldn't get the dress and one of the managers at the store was not very helpful, but as soon as the store's owner learned of our situation, she called and fixed everything. The first thing that she said to my fiance was "what can we do to make you happy and fix this situation," and she stayed true to her word. My fiance ended up getting a beautiful dress for the original price that she signed for. The owners and people who work in the store are very helpful and honest, and we appreciate the help that they gave us.

Change of Heart About Past Experience. I previously posted here because I had a bad experience with Le Star Bridal which was brought about by miscommunication. I had assumed that the original verbal quotation I got from the store was inclusive of all the alterations I needed. However, I assumed wrong and was shocked at the final quote. The store's owner subsequently contacted me and the misunderstanding was corrected. Despite receiving a favorable resolution at the end, I still advise all brides to get a written quotation on alterations before purchasing their gown at any bridal store.

My dream come true. I sent my fiance a long list of dresses to pick from but he could not find them anywhere, until he went to Le Star. The lady at the store was so sweet,and told him he would not easily find any of them cuz they are the classic type which are thus not that popular and that I may have to order one but that would take too much time, which was not an option for me actually. Le Star made my dream come true.... In a few minutes, the lady made a call to the manufacturer and suuuuuuuuuuurprise... My dream dress was to be delivered in less than a month... My fiance got me the dress a couple of days ago, and guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuys, it is much more beautiful than the photo... Thank you

Great customer service. Le Star made my dream come true for my wedding gown. I could not have been in a better shop. Not only did I find my wedding gown (which they custom made for me based on another design) but I got all my bridesmaids gowns there too! My saleswoman was amazing and I highly recommend them to all my friends when they start their wedding planning. Great customer services too !!!! they went above and beyond to make me look beautiful on my special day....

HORRIBLE Customer Service. I'm in a wedding and there are 4 of us in the bridal party, we all ordered are dresses and they came in 2-3 sizes too big, when I called the store to see what they could do the lady (who I couldn't hardly understand) said the managers were going to be out until march and this was in Januaray and there was nothing they could do even though this was obviously someones fault (either theirs or the manufacturer's) She said to call back in march (the wedding was April 1st!!!!) so now we are all forced to get our dresses taken in about 3 inches for them to even stay up. Although it might not have been the Bridal Salon's fault, they have horrible customer service and I would HIGHLY recommend NEVER doing business with them.
