TERRIBLE Experience. My sister purchased the Groupon that gave her a discount on eyelash extensions from this salon. She got them put on the week of her wedding and was ASSURED by the stylist (I believe her name is Tanika) that they would remain intact for 2-3 weeks. My sister allowed them to dry for more than 4 hours (much longer than they needed to) and then proceeded to shower that evening. During the shower, the eyelashes came unglued. Naturally, she contacted the stylist and was assured she would redo them. My sister agreed to do this on the Saturday morning of her wedding day (although this was quite an inconvenience, and not planned for). When we showed up after having our hair done at Changes (where we've always gotten excellent customer service), the stylist hadn't yet arrived. We waited for her (though we were on a very tight schedule) and she did my sister's eyelashes. Afterward, she insisted that she pay for the second round of eyelashes, claiming that none of her other customers had ever had a problem with the eyelashes before. When I challenged this, she told us she'd had to squeeze my sister in, and that her other clients had suffered (even though my sister had made an appointment with her as soon as the first set of lashes came off). I told her that this was not standard practice, and that we shouldn't have to pay for the second set of lashes, since none of this was our fault. When I said this, this woman looked at me, said nothing, and WALKED OUT THE DOOR and out of the building, not saying a word. I've never been treated so rudely by a supposed "professional." She obviously has no interest in providing adequate customer service, or in keeping her clients happy.

I'm writing this review because I know my sister won't pursue it the way it should be pursued. In short, this was a VERY unprofessional, dishonest, and disappointing experience at Amp Salon. I'll be sure to pass this information on to my friends and family, and we'll be sure to avoid this salon and its shady business practices at all costs from now on. I urge you to do the same.
