Tips for Fabbrizi's Ristorante

Great Food, Great Service. Not sure why the previous reviewer didn't like - we went to Fabbrizi's recently and had a wonderful time with delicious homemade food (could tell it wasn't just rewarmed precooked stuff) and a great server. This is finally the kind of neighborhood restaurant we needed in Great Bridge - not a chain, not corporate, but local & family oriented. Thanks for a great meal!

Great Expectations, Terrible Food. Went to Fabbrizis with every expectation we would have some good Italian food. Sadly, this was not the case. I should have known something was amiss when the bread brought out by our waitress was cheap dinner rolls that looked like they were from a chain store. No Italian bread?

We ordered Bruschetta, which instead of tomatoes had some sort of sauteed eggplant mess and sad looking pieces of processed mozzerella semi melted on top. It was so salty, we could not finish it.

Main courses were Veal Marsala and Shrimp Scampi. The Veal (if it was veal) came out as some very tough, overcooked meat medallions swimming in a greasy brown sauce. The pasta side was nothing to speak of--just cooked pasta. The Scampi was also overcooked and drenched in oil, but better prepared than the mess of the Veal. The only positive points were the service and the wine. Our waitress was very good but we were the ONLY customers at 7pm on a Sunday, which also should have told me something. The wine was actually very good, but not enough to save this dismal meal. Save your money and open a can of Spaghetti-O's and pair it with some wonder bread.
