We were pleasantly surprised by the Sanctuary Resort. Our unit (A311) was beautifully and comfortably furnished and had more than ample room for my husband, myself our two children and their grandparents. In addition to the televisions, vcrs, and the like, there were many books in our unit and I enjoyed reading two of them during my stay. The kitchen is a great size, with a large pantry and everything we needed to prepare meals and warm up leftovers. In fact we were so comfortable we seldom went to the area restaurants. The master bedroom and bath are a good size, the shower had plenty of power and we had ample room in the walk in closet for all of our things. The guest room is smaller but there is a full bath as well on that side as well as the washer and dryer. There is one small deck outside of the master bedroom and living room. I did not consider this deck to be dirty or full of spiders, just a normal outside deck.

Outside, the pools are beautiful and refreshing without being cold and the pool decks never too crowed. We could always get a chair.

As a guest at The Sanctuary you are given swiper cards for each outside door and for the elevators. This condo complex does give a sense that you are safe and secure.

Check in was extremely easy and very quick. The entire process took less than 5 minutes. We were at the desk at 3:00 and by 3:15, we were moving into our unit.

Our unit came with a beach storage locker that was not advertised on the site for this unit but was a nice surprise. We were short two chairs for my in laws but we found some in the storage unit along with a beach umbrella, a skim board and many other beach toys. We enjoyed the use of everything and left a few things for the next renter/owner to use.

We grilled out at the grills several times. The grill area was clean and not crowded. The fitness room is clean and well appointed and they even have a small game room and lending library that I took advantage of. The swim up bar was open. We enjoyed smoothies and drinks as well as a meal at the grill restaurant on the other side. This was a nice feature and we were happy to take advantage of it. The beach was beautiful the water perfect, waves were great fun for boogie boarding and surf lessons are available on this beach. One day the jelly fish came in and my daughter along with many other people were stung. This cleared the water quickly but the kids all had fun caching jelly fish in their buckets. By the next morning the jelly fish were completely gone and everyone was back in the water. We saw dolphins on many mornings and enjoyed many long walks on the beautiful beach.

Also as a side note the sand can get very hot on a hot day. One man was taken to the hosptial in an ambulance for burns on his feet, and my father in law did get a bad burn on the bottoms of his feet as well. Wear sandles/flip flops on the beach.

We were looking for a relaxing low activity, low stress very family oriented vacation in a beautiful setting and we found it at the Sanctuary Resort. After a vacation I rarely want to return to an area or a resort because I like to try new ones, but I can easily see returning to this resort each summer and we would request this same unit as well. When you have everything you need in one place why leave it?

Thank you for letting us enjoy a week in your flat in heaven!! Fantastic!! We enjoyed every minute and look forward to coming again. I must say you didn't’ leave anything one can think of to keep your guests happy and comfortable. In Arabic we say SHUKRAH!!

We just came back from a lovely week at The Sanctuary at Sandbridge Beach. We arrived a little early but were able to use the pool and beach. Check in was fine and right on time. Our condo, #A317 was beautiful and very spacious for 4 parents and our 6 children in their 20's.

Highly recommend The Sanctuary for the perfect vacation week. The staff is great, the condos are wonderful - we've had four different units so far and they were all perfect, and the beach is so nice. Pools are large and clean, lots of lounge chairs, the Cabana bar is awesome and The Baja across the street has the best Sunday breakfast!!

One of the Best Vacations yet. The condo is well kept and spacious. We had 10 people and we all had plenty room to relax and enjoy the oceanfront views. Loved to be able to set up at the beach in the morning for most, have some in the pool and just the overall ease of getting around the resort was perfect for all ages. The only downside had nothing to do with the staff, but some of the other vacationers who had a hard time playing by the rules. Swim diapers dont really work, so it would be great if parents kept their kids in the appropriate pools. I would recommend some shades in the master penthouse bedroom, the sun is blinding when it rises and it would be nice to sleep in on a vacation. A trip to remember for a lifetime.

We were so happy that we decided to book this condo! It was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything was organized and it was equipped with everything that you could possibly need. The master bedroom was so bright, cheery and beachy! All you see out your window is the wonderful ocean. A few mornings we woke up to dolphins swimming by!! What a treat! The balcony was decorated beautiful as well - it was great hanging out threre, eating breakfast and playing games. It wasn't too far from restaurants and grocery stores, as well as Target & Walmart. But it's far enough that you get the privacy and quiet of Sandbridge. We will return!!

It has been a long time since we have been to the Virginia Beach area. We do a beach vacation every year from Florida to the Delaware beaches. I believe that the week has been one of the most memorable of them all. Your "Infinite Horizon" is most likely the best property that we have had the pleasure to enjoy. Very beautiful - the decor is fantastic. Looking forward to next year!

This was a last minute vacation to celebrate our anniversary. Looked all over the East Coast for a 2 bedroom condo that was oceanfront, but wasn't having much luck. When I came across this 4 bedroom 4 bath unit for such a reduced price, I jumped on it. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked into the unit. It was very nicely appointed, with many more amentities than I ever expected. I was amazed at the beautiful view from the balcony. I could have lived her for several months with no problem.
