Dupre s is the best spa i have been in the are all the girls are so nice and professionals and the services is great from massage, facial, pedicure, manicure and even hair and eyebrows this people is the best! I was so happy from the first time i go there every special occcasion and when is no so special too i just love also my mom my mother in law and best firends is just awsome

Amazing Colorist and Stylist

I went to Carrie for four years for my coloring and styling. She is amazingly talented. I never once left with something I did not like! I am sad that I had to move out of the area and can no longer go to her. I also received a few manicures and pedicures and eyebrow waxing from the spa as well and was always very pleased. I highly recommend this salon and spa!

The Worst Experience Ever!!!!!!

The staff at Dupre's is very talented, but like another reviewer stated- great talent does not compensate for poor customer service.

I was only in for highlights and a style, and it took them 5hrs. before I left the salon! Not only was my four year year old daughter with me, but also a friend! It was terrible! Not only was the service overpriced, but there was also little consideration taken for my feelings of extreme frustration.

Although I love my color and cut, I will definitely not be going back!!!!

• Cons: long time in the chair (5hrs.)!!!

The best hidden secret in Virginia Beach

I have been to Dupre's a few times. The staff is very warm and welcoming. I have had nothing but the best expierences. I have had my hair cut and colored in the salon with no problems. They even fixed problems from my old hairstylist. Sumi is the best for anything facial. She has done a beautiful job on getting my skin correct for my upcoming wedding. I would highly recommend Sumi for any spa service. She did a wonderful job with my microdermabrasion and purity peel. She even recommended a facewash to help with my acne prone skin. (which has worked wonderfully) With people like Sumi and the front desk staff, I will continue to go to this hidden gem at the beach.

• Cons: parking can be limited sometimes

Terrible Color!!

I was new to the area and my sister-in-law reccommended this salon to me. I went for highlights and a haircut. The color was terrible. Instead of using foils, they painted the color on my hair (with an actual paintbrush). I was told that this was the newest and best technique for color. It looked terrible. I had big stripes of color all over my head and the color was a terrible orange color. It was completely unnatural. It looked ridiculous. And the price was extremely high (even for the area). This place is overpriced for no reason. They clearly have no idea what they are doing. Go somewhere else!

BEST STYLIST EVER- Beautiful Salon

I tried the a new stylist last week and couldn't be more pleased. I have very difficult hair and no one has ever been able to figure out the best cut for me. I tried Dupre's Salon b/c I heard from a coworker that they were good. I guess my timing was right b/c I got to try a stylist that had only been working there for 3 days. His name is Matt and he has been doing hair for years in Richmond. Finally, some one that actually gets my hair problems. For the past week my hair has done exactly what it should and I love having good hair days everyday. I totally rec. this stylist to anyone with trouble hair. It is nice to be able to trust someone with real experience and knowledge. A true professional.

• Pros: Best stylist ever, clean upscale salon- yet to try the spa
• Cons: none- very happy

Super friendly!

Super friendly people work there! I had a stupid hard day and had to get my color done and was not in the mood for anything. To be honest, I almost cancelled b/c I just wanted to go home. But, from the minute I walked in the door I was greeted BY NAME (I have been there a few times prior) and offered a drink, which I gladly accepted. Nothing wrong with a glass of wine. My stylist was Michele and she was super nice. It is refreshing to go somewhere nice and chill and walk out happy. And my hair looks hot. Thanks!

• Pros: happy staff, very clean- great hair!
• Cons: You need to make an appt in advance if you want the same stylist

Poor Customer Service...Down Right RUDE!

Poor custom service doesn't make up for good hairstylist. My hairstylist, Sarah, was very good. I asked her only one question. Do you take the Discover card?. She checked with two different people who advised: yeah, and yeah I think so. The only credit card we don't take is American Express. I said Great! Having a great time until I got to front desk to PAY. Pulled out my credit card and was advised nooo we don't take that one. I advised was told they did. Manager came over said "the cards we take are on the door". So sorry I didnt analyze said door on arrival! They finally took my card.. I was so upset that I told receptionist to please cancel my follow up appointment. I hadn't even made 1 yet! Left a message for owner "Jay" don't expect to hear from him. RUDE service. Glad they didn't have dishes to wash or I'd probably still be there!

Best Spa/WaX EVER!!

I found Dupre's on the web and i must say i was a little nervous at first because i had just moved here into the area. i had been receiving my Brazilian wax back home in Arizona where there is NO water. since i would be living on the water now i would need them more regularly. A wonderful women named Helena helped me with my services and i couldn't have asked for a better experience. she was EXTREMELY professional and very polite. we were actually laughing during my service!! It's painful-sure... but if the right person is doing it and they are well educated the job is done quickly and it's over before you know it. I won't trust anyone else now to do my waxing for me. She's a great gal! I would also like to note that the person who wrote the review before about DON'T GET YOUR WAX HERE! Needs happy drugs...if i had waited that long to get my wax services done i'm sure it wasn't very pleasurable. Anyway, Helena's your girl to fix all your "too hairy" needs!!

The best money you'll ever spend

I just loved my massage with Amy! I am a massage therapist, so its hard to relax and just let go during a massage. I am always evaluating whats going on and if I like it or if I hate it. But, i have to say, wow! She was awesome! She listened to what was going on with me and really addressed those areas with total expertise. She was quiet/chatty when appropriate, and very easy to click with.

I've also been getting pedicures for what seems like a hundred years now (I'm 27) but if you want the best you have to see Ingrid. Ditch the dirty place you're going to now, and stop in at Dupre's for super friendly, very clean service. They use pipe-less pedi chairs and always have the newest OPI colors. my feet have never looked or felt better, Ingrid really takes the time to make them smooth without using those scary callus shavers.

I recently moved from Virginia to Connecticut, but these girls are worth a trip back to the beach!

• Pros: Friendly staff. Expert employees. Upscale, yet comfortable.
• Cons: Make an appointment before you leave. They book up fast!
