Horrible Place As Far As Service

I went to Schooners last night for my sons football banquet. I had looked at the online menu and knew what I wanted. I ordered 12 wings and two sides of fries for me and my daughter. I placed the order at 6:30pm. The waitress kept telling us the food was coming. At 7:25, I told her to cancel my order, she came to the table with the food anyway. I told her that I said I didnt want it and thats what I meant. To make it so bad, she came with the chicken and no fries and never refilled our drinks. When she came with the check, she THREW it on the table, so I in turn took out 2:44 in change and two singles and when she returned, I threw it on the table and the change went everywhere. She said to me"Wellm if you would not have been so rude to begin with, I would not have thrown the check." I simply told her to pick up her change and keep it movin. I would NOT recommend going here to anyone until they teach the staff to have some respect and cout=resy for the patrons

I was in Newport News for a conference. I ordered the Schooners burger two days ago. You think that the their "signature burger" would be good. Instead this is what I got:

1. old salad: brown on the edges

2. stale bread and I mean STALE

3. reheated fries. They were so old that they were sticking together.

4. a tasteless burger. I mean small and with a really bad tasting meat.

I did not eat anything after my first byte on the burger alone. I told this to the waitress and they did not even offer me a refund! What a crappy place. I gladly payed the $10 just to get out of there.

Best PIZZA EVER!!! Great Specials!! A+++++

Best Pizza I think I've EVER HAD!!! Great afternoon drink and food specials. Wonderful atmosphere, especially for sports and weekend fun. Open Mic Tues and Karaoke Wedns are a favorite! Overall, great for Food Fun and Spirits. . .all without hurting your wallet!!!

• Cons: Park in garage behind or lot on end
